Referral service only
Pest Shield is a marketing and referral service. We help connect consumers with independent pest-control providers and do not inspect properties, recommend a specific treatment, set provider pricing, or perform pest-control services. Providers are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Pest Shield.
Provider services
Any service agreement is solely between you and the independent provider. Before authorizing work, you are responsible for reviewing the provider’s qualifications, licenses, insurance, inspection findings, treatment plan, product information, price, warranty, and contract terms. Availability, pricing, response time, and results vary by provider and location.
Permitted use
You may use the site only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape the site through automated means, impersonate another person, submit false requests, or use the service in a way that harms us, providers, or other users.
Communications and calls
By contacting us, you authorize us and participating providers to respond to your request by phone, voicemail, email, or text using the information you provide, subject to applicable law. Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, and compliance purposes when permitted by law and disclosed as required. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing provider services.

Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pest Shield and its affiliates, vendors, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the site, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.
Changes and severability
We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
